Days 4 & 5
Yesterday was kinda busy. We took Mallory to the doctor for a 2 week weight check. She has gained all of her birth weight back plus a few more ounces. She is doing great, she was a little fussy last night, I think it is *gas* poor thing. Anyway she is doing fine today. Lindsey and I have been trying to scrapbook some this morning while Mallory naps. We are heading out in a few minutes to have my friend Jessica do Mallory's foot prints of on some ceramic tiles and probably a plate with both girls prints. Those feet are too cute!!!! Nothing else much going on, just "girl stuff".

Day 3
Another great day, and I even managed to take a very short nap, but it was a nap nonetheless. This morning a very talented friend by the name of Marci Lambert came to the house and did a photo shoot with the girls. Marci lives in my neighborhood, I met her through our garden club. She is so very talented, check her stuff out here. I can't wait to see the pictures. It is like waiting for Christmas, oh my goodness.

Day 2
We are having another good day. I'm a little tired, but that goes with the territory. Lindsey had a play date with a friend today so it has just been Mallory and me for a better part of the day. She has been really good today.

Day one, me and the girls
David went back to work today so it has been just me and the girls. It has been a good day. Not too overwhelming. I actually enjoyed it. They have both been excellent. *A Mother's dream*

Can you tell she is on cloud nine?
Lindsey is just in awe of her little sister. She refused to leave the hospital until Mallory arrived. Luckily my grandmother was here hanging out with Lindsey last week, so when my water broke at 4p on 6/14 David came home to take me to the hospital and guess who all had to come along? Lindsey and Mama Nita were there the entire time, leaving the room only while I delivered Mallory (she arrived at 12:30A on 6/15). Lindsey was so tired, but refused to leave Mommy's side. We managed to convince her to take a nap about 10:30p, but had to take her to the waiting room when delivery time came. She was so good through the whole thing. My Mom and Step-Father hit the road south (from Ohio) as soon as we confirmed I was in labor. They finally arrived at the hospital about 4am so it was easier to convince Lindsey to go home and get some sleep. Which they all did for a few hours, then back to the hospital for some sister time. Here she is all rested and ready for little sister.
I think her smile says it all. *True Bliss*
